Install tranoo

This guide covers the Tranoo Android Public Beta: installing the application, creating an account, and configuring your preferences.

Install the application

  1. Open the official Download page on your phone.
  2. Tap Download Android Public Beta to download tranoo-beta.apk.
  3. If Android requests permission to install apps, allow it only for the browser or file manager used to open the APK.
  4. Install and launch tranoo.
  5. Download future Public Beta updates only from the official releases page.

Verify your download

The expected SHA-256 for Public Beta 1 is 6110ccb595ded4ec797ab016983a0ace1a438e793e19160ed30d969f4a0d54a0. Compare your result with the official checksum file.

  • Windows PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\tranoo-beta.apk -Algorithm SHA256
  • macOS/Linux: shasum -a 256 tranoo-beta.apk

Create an account

You can browse listings without an account. Sign in to publish listings, message others and manage your property workflows.

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Create account.
  3. Enter your name, email and a password.
  4. Confirm your email if prompted.

Sign in

  • Open the Profile tab and enter your email and password.
  • If social sign-in (Google or Facebook) is enabled in your version of the app, use the corresponding button to sign in with that account.

Set up your profile

Completing your profile builds trust, especially when you publish properties.

  1. Add your name.
  2. Add a profile photo.
  3. Add your phone number and WhatsApp number if you want buyers and sellers to reach you.
  4. Add your city and a short bio (for agents and agencies).

Choose your language and currency

  • Language — choose your app language (English, Français or Malagasy) in settings. This is a device- and account-level preference.
  • Currency — tranoo supports MGA (Ariary), EUR and USD. Switch currency at any time and prices throughout the app update instantly.

Permissions

tranoo may ask for a few permissions. Here is what they are used for:

Permission Used for
Location Map exploration, nearby properties and distance display.
Camera / Gallery Uploading property photos and profile pictures.
Notifications Message alerts and listing status updates.
