Troubleshooting
If something is not working as expected, try the matching fix below. If the problem persists, contact support.
The app won’t start
- Restart the app.
- Restart your phone.
- Update tranoo to the latest version.
- Free up storage space if the device is full.
- If it still crashes, clear the app’s cached data in device settings (note: this may sign you out).
Cannot log in
- Check that your email and password are correct.
- Use forgot password to reset it if needed.
- Check your internet connection.
- If you signed in with Google or Facebook, confirm those accounts are working.
- Verify your email address if you never confirmed it.
No listings appear
- Check your internet connection.
- Pull to refresh the listing feed.
- Loosen your filters or remove the location filter.
- Listings are loaded from your device’s local database and the backend; if the backend is temporarily unreachable, the app may show only what it has cached.
Images fail to load
- Check your connection — images are larger than text.
- Wait a moment and try again.
- Restart the app if images stay blank.
Network offline
- tranoo keeps recently viewed and saved listings available offline.
- Real-time messaging and cloud sync require a connection.
- Reconnect to sync new activity.
Location permission denied
- If the map or nearby features need your location, grant the location permission in your device settings.
- You can use search and filters without location.
Messages not updating
- Pull to refresh the conversation.
- Check your connection.
- Close and reopen the conversation.
- Notifications for new messages require the notification permission.
Notifications unavailable
- Enable notifications for tranoo in your device settings.
- Check that you are signed in.
- On some devices, battery-optimization settings can delay notifications.
Upload failed (listing or photo)
- Check that the photo is in a supported format (JPG, PNG, WebP).
- Keep images under the size limit shown in the app.
- Check your connection.
- Try again; if the upload keeps failing, restart the app.
Expired authentication session
- If the app asks you to sign in again, that is expected — sessions expire for security.
- Sign in again with your email and password.
